Late at night on 10 June, the first lorry arrived from Gerald Woehl's workshop in Marburg, Germany, bringing the first parts of the organ, including the console.

The contents of the lorry were unloaded this morning, with the gracious help of a number of the organ diploma students, who also helped in preparing and painting the air ducts and wind chests during the day in preparation of the next phase of installation.

The next transport, containing swell boxes and the huge 32' flue pipes, is due to arrive on 2 July.
